Basically my Headset is not letting me talk but I can hear and all the other functions such as volume and mute button is working?


anyone have any idea what it could be? I have restarted my xbox and nothing.

Yes this is a common issue with alot of xbox players including myself. First thing you can do is unplug your headset and plug it back in. if that doesn't work start a new party(starting a new party refreshes connections). Lastly Power cycle your console and then try again. Repeat all of these steps until the headset works, yes its a pain but we all go through it. Note: have others start parties too. their connection may be better than yours and will make your party work better. hope this helps.

i had the same problem but i couldn't be bothered fixing it so i got the mic adapter that goes in the controller and just used my turtle beaches from my Xbox 360. plus when it happened to me id usually just reset my Xbox and then it would work again.

Could be a faulty wire or it's not plugged in properly.
