Which CPU should I get? I can't choose between AMD and Intel. I only have about $200 to spend. I hear a lot of people say Intel is better for gaming and AMD is better for rendering. Idk who to choose. If you guys could leave some CPU that would be great! Any feedback would be amazing, Thanks!

Plain and simple, Intel! If you're looking for a "gaming CPU" definitely go with an Intel. Why? Because they have less cores which are strong while AMD has more cores that are weaker. If you're looking to play intense games like Call of Duty that puts load on your CPU, definitely go with an Intel, if your looking to play games like Minecraft or do video/photo editing, go with an AMD.

This may be a little bit over your budget, but this is an awesome CPU that has plenty of room to overclock, just make sure you have a good cooling unit like a Hyper 212 Evo!

Most definitely Intel. I have an AMD because I don't play many demanding games.. I like to do more Graphics work or video editing.

Get an Intel processor, they perform better at gaming and rendering than AMD processors, and if you want to play Arma, you will want an intel processor.

you can see the performance difference in this video-

Generalizations about manufacturers are bad because they're not necessarily true at every price point.

An i5 is the best option for that budget right now.
