A dog is a dog unless you house train it. Can't just get an animal and then not train it. Having a dog comes with responsibilities which include training it. Train the dog... problems go away.

If you can not handle having a dog then in later life don't consider having a child.

Rollins wrote I cannot take It anymore, 6 days ago we got a dog, blah blah, every morning I'm late for school, the house stinks of shit, my GCSEs are in 4 months, when I try and revise I hear barking or crying, I just don't know what to do? I go to sleep 40 mins after I go to bed since all I hear is her barking etc!!

I don't know what to do?

First off, house train the dog and then the house would not smell bad. Secondly, you can always train the dog to be quiet when in the house, or make the dog an outside dog.

A dog is man's best friend. Sacrifice a little and maybe the dog will calm down when you show it that you love it instead of it being such a burden like you are making it seem to be.

I got a dog, well my mother did. She thought it would be a 'great' idea/ Now we have had the little doggy for 7 months, still doesn't listen and my father and I give the dog time, but just poops it on the carpets.

My mum is taking the dog to a home, just because it simply won't listen, although wr have spent hours trying to teach him, sit, lie down, etc.

The only advice I could give is, be a man, block it out.

So your getting rid of the dog just because you aren't capable of getting it to sit down.. maybe give it more time to try. It's not very fair on the dog if it just settles in and you are giving it away again..

Oh and my mum and dad bought a 20 grand kitchen, but that's getting destroyed aswell...

Those are the perks of getting a puppy.

If you don't want it to annoy you, you have to train it.

I know this is way off topic, but I'm assuming that you are from the UK. What does revising mean in terms of tests. You used it in the post. I'm from the US and I have heard of that when I watch some BBC shows, but not sure what it is exactly.

Anyways, getting back on track. I would got else where to get some focus. or even invest in some ear muffs. I have some for my dorm, just so I can have some quite when I need it.

You sound like my younger brother. He hates doing anything for the dog but thinks it is still his. Treats it like crap alone, but around others he expects to avoid all responsibly and just let us take care of it. Man up you lazy child and take care of your pet. Its responsibility is yours. I had to wake up an extra 10 minutes every morning to walk it, and I never was late. I have an idea that seems to have evaded your simple mindset, GET OFF THIS SITE, for 10 minutes and take the dog on a walk so it doesn't crap in the house. This is not a rant against the dog, this is against you. Your in the real world now, time to man up and face your responsibilities. You can't avoid them forever. No get off and go.

6 days?! You do realise if you can't be patient enough eith a dog, kids are going to be hell for you pal.

The dog needs to settle in, be all good with the surroundings and such. Mor importantly, know who is boss.

I guess you're gonna have to listen to it whine for a while since its new to you.

Its about as bad as trying to get an infant to shut up after you tried everything. Lol.

Hence why I have a cat and no kids.
