The Call of Duty Franchise Rant

Ok, let me start out by saying that i do like call of duty. in fact i've bought every call of duty game since call of duty 2 but it seems that the franchise is just giving us the same thing over and over and over again.

ok last year they released advanced warfare but do you really see a huge difference between this game and any other CoD. i mean sure the controls are a lot better than Ghosts (in my opinion) but it's still the same content only it has... double jump.. thrusters...

it's like they introduced Buzz Lightyear to CoD but its not like they added laser weapons too... oh wait... they did.

the best CoD's where the classics, Cod 4 and Cod WaW. then again this was before we knew how repetitive it would become and even those sacred games have been ruined by constant online modding (i myself keep anything like this in private matches, where they should be).

if the shear online gameplay wasn't bad enough the connectivity, poor gun sounds and of course unrealistic gun play makes it worse... i can't remember a time when someone could easily stand and shoot a Barrett 50. cal sniper rifle without breaking there shoulder and collapsing, you would have to be the hulk just to hold it up.

this year i really hope that Treyarch can revive CoD's broken past with a supposedly leaked WaW II...

i cant remember the last time i bought CoD for multi-player over single Player.
