Hi everyone I have a quick question. Since the latest firmware that is jailbreakable is iOS 8.1.2 I want to restore to that firmware. I am currently jailbroken on iOS 7. Can I restore to 8.1.2 instead of the most latest iOS which is 8.1.3 which is unjailbreakable. And how? Thanks alot all advice is accepted!

yes you can indeed youll need to download the IPSW for that firmware here:http://www.ipswdownloader.com/
then youll need to make sure to back up everything to either itunes or icloud or preferably both.
make sure everything you need is backed up or saved somewhere, the connect your phone to itunes then
hold the shift key down and press the restore button (you might want to make sure you save that IPSW in
an easily reachable place) then a window will pop up and youll need to find your IPSW and double click it
it should go through. il start making another post about an issue that i had with it. and if you have the
same issue youll have info at your disposal already.

now the issue that i had was that once i got everything downloaded and backed up the ipsw was not there (this mainly only happens if your downloading through IE) all you have to do is move the file to your desktop and rename it by clicking the name below the icon do not erase the whole name just change the file extension from .zip to .ipsw DO NOT UNZIP THE FILE!!!! just change the file extension and it should show up when press shift restore
