I just built my computer about two weeks ago and bought CSGO along with it. For the first week my ping was around 50-60 but all of the sudden it has always been at 140 in every server. The high ping doesn't even feel that bad but I just want to know what is causing this... Something with my internet or something with steam? idk

Here is a screenshot from speedtest showing that my ping shouldn't be that high...

i am so jealous of your speeds

What servers are you playing on? You might be playing on foreign hosts which might cause lag but i wouldn't see that as a major issue.

I'm just playing on matchmaking so unless the matchmaking system is messed up?

After a quick search on Google I found this: Start,
Start, Run, CMD, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew

Hope this helped,

It is not only you, lately the US East, and West servers have been terrible.

I'm normally around 50ping to a US East, and 70 to a US West.

Last few days/week it's been over 150 to even a US East Server.
