I've heard about jobs doing this but not colleges. If you don't have any name associated with your Google + and channel, you should be fine. I believe you can even change the name of your Google+ account too.

Anyways, OP, colleges will look at social media as well as your YT account.

That being said, they really do not care as long as you have the grades and what not to be in their school.

Okay! I was honestly just worried because it is weird and sometimes I'm very unprofessional and I just wasn't sure.

I was judged a bit in middle school for my channel, but I was making large for a little kid and I think they were just jelous, I dropped the whole thing when I started highschool, I have the channel still though. You really don't eed to delete it. Just keep your online id hidden ;)
