Yesterday i made a login concept and that sparked my idea of this website.It took me about 1 day and a half but i would have made a fully detailed website in about two weeks(not trying to sound smart?...)
Header.

Pretty Simple,The Logo,Text And Everything Where its supposed to be.
Middle Area.

Basically Its showing the most recent project and what else theres in the store.

Where There is live twitter feed and maybe space for more project,ads etc

this is just under the "Under Middle Area" where users that are signed in can live comments and theres a voting system and appernlty lot of people think I suck

Its Showing Off the whole website,nothing else to say since i explained before.

It looks very narrow. Not sure what it would look like on an actual webpage, but the pic you gave makes it looks very narrow.
Also, it's very bland, adding some textures into the backgrounds would help, nothing major, but subtle changes are sometimes best. There is a big difference between minimalistic designs and bland designs, and this to me look a little bland at the moment.

I have to agree about the overall feel of this design being bland. I think that textures and possibly some color changes here and there would do this website some good.
