Try rehashing and resigning your profile

if that fails then

Delete your account from the 360 (PROFILE ONLY) and THEN recover!

Leave it for 24 Hours and then you should be able to sign into live.

If NOT then phone MS and ask them to sort it out.

Same EXACT thing happened to me!
Just delete your PROFILE ONLY from your memory then just recover it again!
