I heard the reason that there wasn't a second season, was that while the were still in the midst of making it, there was an earthquake or some other natural disaster.

Loved this anime and sad that I possibly won't get anymore seasons out of it since the last season was created in 2011.

I saw this thread and thought "Wonder how many people said Spice and Wolf?" This really NEEDS a third season more than any show I have seen.

I'd also like to see a darker than black sequel from somebody else's POV, but it had such a good ending, and corny at that xD, that it'd be a shame to waste it.
