Hey guys. Wondering what your recommended dimensions would be for making a wallpaper in gimp. I recently used 1024x768 and found that when I went to export my image all my hard work turned out blurred and disgusting looking when I went to put it as my wallpaper. I also then looked up the dimensions of my laptop and found that they were 1280x800, but I again am wondering what you would recommend as say a universal wallpaper size that would look good on nearly all monitors.

I would make the images in 1920x1080 as that is one of the most common resolutions, and downsizing doesn't make the image look as bad as up-sizing.
