Hey guys, I remember my old channel, the channel url was simply Youtube.com/user/myname, but now with my current account, this is my url to my channel.

Is there any way to change that url, taking away those random numbers and letters and replacing it with my youtube channel name instead, like we all used to have before?

The new YouTube terms and condition prevent you from creating a custom URL until you fulfil certain requirements.

The eligibility requirements are:

To get a custom URL for your channel, your account needs to be in good standing and meet a few other requirements:
    500 or more subscribers
    Channels is at least 30 days old
    Channel has uploaded a photo for the channel icon
    Channel has uploaded channel art
