Some stuff are missing and that's because I already have them. (like the HDD)

This build that I created was just for fun, and maybe an idea for a future upgrade.

Any type of criticism/help is appreciated.

It's terrible. AM3+ is a dead socket, and even f you were just getting an FX CPU because you already have an AM3+ board, the 8320 would be wiser than the 8350. 16GB RAM is most likely entirely unnecessary. You'd be better getting 2x8GB anyway, if you did need 16GB RAM, IMO. CPU cooler is alright, but nothing special. Should definitely spend more on cooling. I'd be getting SLI 970s, as opposed to XFire 290's. The 290's use more power, run hotter and louder and are a little older. You don't need thermal paste, the X41 comes with some pre-applied. PSU is good, but you could get a good unit for a little less.

Get an i5-4690K CPU with a Z97 motherboard. intel chips are way better at processing things like games than AMD chips (clock speed isn't everything remember).

Also I wouldn't get 4 4GB RAM cards, get 2 8GB RAM cards instead (but you really don't need more than 8GB), this helps with the timings of the cards and is easier on the memory controller.

I would also either get a bigger SSD or an HDD to go along with the SSD (obviously put OS on SSD) as 120GB will fill up faster than you think. For example OS takes 3 or so GB then if you wanted any modern AAA games like BF4 they can take up like 30 - 40GB of space.

I agree with Sanctyy aswell get the GTX 970, it is a great card to have and having it in SLI would give excellent performance.

If your aiming for 4k just switch the CPU to a i5 and you'll be golden.

The memory bandwidth is pretty epic on the Hawaii gpus.
