EDIT - IT IS NOW JUST STUCK ON THE APPLE LOGO AND DOESN'T GET DETECTED BY ITUNES...

1. plug idevice into computer.
2. Hold the home and power button down for 10 seconds.
3. now release the power button and continue holding the home until your computer detects it.
4. you are now in DFU mode. Just restore via itunes.
