--Fear-- wrote Well I see what your dating an all that but most jobs have competitors for the job and most likely look at stuff like experience and qualifications. And no I do not believe that they should be able to turn you down because you dropped out of high school but that's just the way the world works it's a b*tch
Yea but it's possible for business A to have drop outs and could be just as successful as business B without drop outs. To be honest, it's really unfair. Their should be a law to issue a test to the drop out at least.

I disagree. I think it's fair. It's people's decisions if they decide to drop out for whatever reason. Just finish school, it's not complicated.

I think it's unfair for someone who dropped out of school to get a job over someone who has finished school and worked hard to get good grades.
So if someone's mom was a drug addict and with no father and was living really poor and had to drop out to help his mother pay rent, you think it's unfair still? Put yourself in their situation man. It's hard.

Since when was we going on about a fatherless kid who has to keep him and his mom from getting kicked out there home?...

I thought this was about people in general. Clearly there is going to be people who have reasons to leave school early. You don't need to tell me that.
That's just one reason. I can name many more...

I don't think your even reading my replies properly anymore. I think I should just leave the discussion at this point.

No, I don't think you are reading his replies, as I'm fairly certain you said it's the students choice to drop out.

He simply gave an example of a situation in which it wouldn't be the students choice.

I acknowledged his point. I think because someone downvoted me and said I was wrong that everyone has just gone against me no matter what I say now.

One last thing,

Unless someone has got a gun to their head with their life a second away from being taken there is ALWAYS a choice.

"So if someone's mom was a drug addict and with no father and was living really poor and had to drop out to help his mother pay rent, you think it's unfair still? Put yourself in their situation man. It's hard."

Dropping out wouldn't bring his dad back, dropping out wouldn't stop his mom from being a drug addict. Dropping out wouldn't mean he could quickly get a job to help pay rent.

That's all I have to say for this ridiculous excuse of a decent debatable topic.

The way you're talking, you must come from some rich family who had no problems at all. You really don't understand. You should just ignore this topic. Financial security comes before school, so does your health.

Well they shouldn't give jobs to people who dropped out of highschool. It just shows lack of interest. If they didn't bother to finish school, why would they bother to finish a job their employer gave them. But college is a different situation. If you dropped out of college, you should be given jobs because not everyone can afford college.

You choose for health and finance to be more prioritized than school. It's not that you have to that's my point. You are choosing school to be less important. You're literally proving my point correct in a sentence where your saying I am wrong.

If anything it's probably more "healthy" to go to school. And if you do finish it it would help you better financially in the long run.

Also who do you think you are to judge me? You haven't seen, met, or spoke to me before this. I'm not rich. I've had problems in the past. I'm giving my opinion on this topic where you are asking a question and I am answering. Yet I am wrong. Clearly you think you are right no matter what so I'm leaving it at that.

Feel free to post more things from your close minded brain. Bye.

Most careers require education, and for good cause. I do think they should deny people for not completing high school.

Personally if they can just walk out of something as important as education, whats gonna keep them at my company.
I would much rather give the job to the person that completed their education.
