Senate wrote I don't understand why people are so sceptical. There is nothing like a desire to succeed, and I for one applaud your instinct.

Let me know if I can help in any marketing way possible further down the line, I am not a game designer haha

It is only fair to be skeptical when a single man (who probably just never packed anyone good) decides he's going to take down the biggest sports game in the market - without a team already in place and with no proof of his so called "assets". People who make it big start small..

Your telling me you'd post proof of everything on a tech site where the average age is 14? I sure wouldn't. And people who make it big don't necessarily start small. Look at Francis Boule for example, came from a family of means and now owns multiple businesses

How is it relevant that there are fourteen year olds on this site? If you're going to post an essay (actually in this case 2 essays) on a tech site claiming you have plans to dethrone EA from the top of the gaming world, then you should probably at least show you have the means to do so - otherwise you are always going to be considered crazy/a troll.

You're using Francis Boulle as an example - but there are a number of flaws with that comparison - as he firstly is not dethroning any other business giants, he simply owns a few solvent businesses making him a wealthy man. Secondly, in order to do that - he must've started with a small sum of money and made it grow until he could set up these businesses - i.e. started small. Just like Alan Sugar or any other entrepreneurs you may see in the business world today who started from nothing.

That's the flaw in what you said right there Senate, if that's the case with the average age group, then why would he start here? On this game he is going to come up that will take FIFA down.

I personally think this is some troll or some guy who craves attention or is really high. Either or.

Incorrect, I wasn't flawed. An average age doesn't suggest every member is 14. It suggests an average

And @Fletcher, he shouldn't need to justify unless there are interested parties? Surely that is a more logical solution than a large group of teens attacking him for his idea cause he doesnt have relevant proof for them. If you are an interested party and wish to help him he'd be more than willing to show you everything you requested I assume.. + Francis Boule comes from a family of means, he's always been surrounded by a lot of money and had it himself. He's made himself wealthier. Alan Sugar - Francis Boule was a poor comparison, it's like comparing a corner shop to Asda

Okay, so if I made a thread claiming that I was going to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo without even showing that I can play football - you'd expect people to take me seriously? If you aren't going to show people that you aren't talking out of your arse, then you shouldn't be posting something like this without expecting people to call you crazy. I'm not saying this shouldn't be posted, as you have to find people to join you from somewhere. However, there is absolutely no argument to suggest that people shouldn't be skeptical.

and with Francis Boulle, I apologise, as I misread what you wrote - however, you are still failing to make a comparable link to this man's situation. Running a few businesses you bought with your families money is nothing like starting up a gaming company with the objective of immediately overthrowing EA...

He readily anticipates the concurrent costs and he already knows how long it'll take to get started. I think it's a great idea but I do not agree that he will initially beat any FIFA or Pes game. I already said I love the desire thus pulling me in.

This lad posting has an eager mind and money, and that can achieve many things. Oh, and as for the skeptics, would you have still questioned this if it was put on a job website? Would you have turned up for an interview asking for proof of money etc? Doubtful (that is not aimed at just you, but everyone, as this is essentially a job offer for the right person).

But he has no idea, and neither do any of us! You can forecast the cost of setting up a business, but there is no algorithm in the world which will tell you how much money is needed to overthrow another business. You could throw 100 million at utter shite but it will still be utter shite. If he manages to revolutionise the way sports games are played, and the idea takes off, it may not cost as much as anticipated.

And in response to your "interview" scenario - actually if this were Dragon's Den or something to that end, which is ultimately the type of situation you'd have to undergo to set up a project involving ivestors' money - an idea wouldn't be enough to secure investment (especially the type of investment he would need to set up a company as major as he is aspiring to), you need facts and figures based on hard evidence, and for the most part - to already show a vague amount of success in your enterprise.

I agree that you need self-belief, conviction and that hunger to make something work - but this is just plain arrogance backed up with absolutely nothing bar a few meaningless timeframes and figures.

It's odd that many arrogant buisnessmen are hugely successful, I for one think he has a great plan and would love for him to succeed, especially if he gets his investment spot on
