There's a difference between hating and criticising.

This video is stupid. - Hate.
This video is stupid because... - Criticising.

Ok so im sure we were created by God.

It's ironic that you're here criticising Evolution for having a supposed lack of evidence when you make a claim like that alongside it.

The theory of evolution is just disinfo put out there mainly to get people to doubt God.

No, the theory of evolution provides an alternative explanation for how we came to exist.
It's only a problem for Biblical literalists and they have enough problems anyway.
A belief in God is perfectly compatible with Evolution.

As for the video itself, just scrolling down the first group of comments provides enough refutation.

I was going to argue with you but its pointless seeing that you didn't even watch the video to come to your own conclusion you just read the comments to see what others thought.

ZIGAZAG wrote A belief in God is not compatible with evolution at all and its kinda funny all you got out of this is what I said about hate ROFL I can't even get on your level wow you didn't even watch it for yourself to get your own opinion you just read the comments "what other people think about it" your are so typical its almost funny

I stopped watching when he started spouting nonsense about mutation, adding information, and how it's never been seen.
Then I scrolled down to the comments and read through the refutations for everything else he brought up.

This video is not the slam dunk you thought it was.

And yes, Evolution is perfectly compatible with a belief in God, there are many evolutionary biologists who believe in God.
It just goes against Genesis which a lot of Christians don't believe is literal anyway.

Seeing as the OP deleted his recent post, I'll just come out and say this.

You can't argue the facts of Evolution with a story book. Religion in my eyes has no place in our modern society. It holds us back from achieving in science. I has cause every major war/conflict.

I don't normally shoot for the kill, but based of the voice you used in the OP you are too ignorant to see past your own side.

Like, have you ever actually read the bible? I have, its ridiculous. Many of the things you are doing right now are "considered against" the bible. Your post was almost on Westboro Baptist Church level. You can't come out of the gate saying that your side is right if you have NO PROOF WHAT SO EVER that it is correct.

The two segments that I have bolded out, I have to say I disagree with. As for science being held back due to religion, I don't see a connection. Religion and general science can coexist together with no conflicts. I hope you do realize that "science" is broader than just "evolution", "creation of the universe", etc. Science also includes the development of medicine, how nature functions, etc. So your claim is incorrect. Now onto the subject of religions starting wars. I absolutely hate when people say this. It's ignorant. People cause wars. Normally religions are peaceful and such. It always starts with the extremists who think their religion is right and all others are wrong. The source of war is not through the religion itself, but rather in the people of the religion.

As for the OP, I believe the Theory of Evolution is true to a certain extent. Not to the extent that all living things descend from a common ancestor, but that organisms can evolve from one species and begin to branch off. So not necessarily that humans came from apes, but that we all started out as the same colored humans, and eventually evolved and branched out to become different races and ethnicities. This can also apply to other species and not just humans.

I just want to ask a question. If God is real, and we are the only self conscious beings in the ENTIRE universe, why are there other planets? why are there Galaxies? Why are there black holes? Why are there stars?

Nobody knows. Maybe it's just to keep everything balanced? I always thought about how the Earth rotates around the Sun. If the sun wasn't there, Earth would rotate around something different, which would alter the affects on Earth, so it could have some drastic change to temperature. Yes, I realize without the Sun, there wouldn't really be any heat anyways, but theoretically if the Sun didn't heat the Earth. There would be a drastic change.

Even from an atheist viewpoint, there is no real answer as to why everything is here. Yes they could say "The Big Bang caused all these galaxies, planets, stars, etc to form." But that's the "how" it formed. Nobody knows "why" it was formed.

I take your point about science not being affected hugely, but Religion does affect science. Just look at Stem Cell research and how hugely impeded that has been. Who knows what we would be able to do medically if that research had been unobstructed.

The war thing I agree with, maybe not for the same reasons though. I simply cite this small piece of information when anyone brings it up:

"Philip and Axelrods three-volume Encyclopedia of Wars chronicles some 1,763 wars that have been waged over the course of human history. Of those wars, the authors categorize 123 as being religious in nature, which is an astonishingly low 6.98% of all wars."

I see were your coming from I think that is us adapting to our environment "adaption" like dark skin doesn't burn in the sun as easy but that's just what I think.
And to the ones that are so focused on me believing in God you think that everyone that's trusts in God is into organized religion your wrong and I've read the Bible over and over. And a Christian is someone that believes Christ was here to save the common man not just the chisen race. Why when I say I believe in God I'm attacked
