Okay so recently I ran out of my space on my internal harddrive and I bought a 3TB external. It's the Seagate Backup Plus 3TB 3.0 USB HDD, around $120 at BestBuy. It's works fine, I can install all my games and ETC. but recently i've been having a problem. Battlefield and Dying Light have graphics and sound bugs. In Battlefield, I can spawn in, but when I spawn I have no weapon and players are invisible. and in Dying Light i have problems with noise, I can hear background noise like footsteps etc but no voices some of the times. Is this a problem with my external? I have Advanced Warfare installed on my external and it runs perfectly fine.

idk if this will work but I had the same sound problem with cut scenes on halo go to settings then sound settings go over to digital audio and put HDMI AUDIO as stereo OPTICAL AUDIO as bitstream and BITSTREAM FORMAT as dolby digital

and as for battlefield no idea could just be the game as it is very buggy in general

Might just be your hard drive..
I have an ADATA 2TB DashDrive USB 3.0, been using this for a good few months and had no problems what so ever.
If I remember correctly only few hard drives work perfect on the xb1, so might just be your hard drive

I think the hard drive is too slow. There could be a problem with it.

unless you got a lemon hd the seagates are perfectly fine i ran the same 3tb one for almost a yr before i upgraded to the 5tb. never once had an issue with it loads faster and downloads faster then the internal hard drive does. though it is not recommended to play extended periods of time on any external hd just transfer the game to the internal if you plan on benge gaming a certian game for awhile
