Piercing is a 2 second sting. Whereas, a tattoo looks extremely painful depending on which area you're getting it on. I personally do not have tattoo's but my brother's have one or two and they said it is quite painful. Also, you said you don't like needles, I don't really know how you would get a tattoo in the future unless you use one of them sticker ones that you apply to your arm and add water lmao!

I had both my ears pierced at 17, they were each pierced with a 16G needle I believe. I got them done at a tattoo shop though.

I also stretched up to about a 6G ( small, I know ) My goal was 5/8ths, just never reached it.

Eyebrow piercing was my first. I then got my ears pierced which I then went to gauges and now have let them close up, so I'm just sitting with my right eyebrow pierced and probably won't be getting any other piercings anytime soon.

Never get pierced by a gun, ever.
It cannot be properly serviced or sterilized like a piercing needle can be.

Guns also cause unnecessary trauma, they aren't hollow as a piercing needle would be.
This means that the needle from a gun will push and tear through the flesh opposed to sliding through and removing a tiny amount of flesh and making a clean cut.

No piercings atm, might get lobes done in the near future, would also like to have my septum done down the road.

I settled with minor tattoos for the time being.
