Hmmm I wouldn't mind a 93 Fox body with a big block. You wouldn't have a ballpark price range on how much I could get a use one in decent shape do you?

One of my best buds has a mustang, he loves it.
My brother had a mustang for his first car and hated it, he ended up with a truck.

I guess it is just personal preference, if you want a lot of room, get a truck or something.

It honestly just depends on your driving style & where you live the conditions you have to drive. Depending on the weather is how you should judge your first car.

If you REALLY love cars and are passionate about them. Dont get a Ford Mustang. You can spend about 5k on nice car and learn about how to tune it up with new parts. Just remember American cars are more expensive BUT easier to work with. Asian cars are cheap and turn in to dust when in a wreck. If you just want the lazy way out to get a decent car then yeah waste a lot of money on a Ford Mustang that you'll most likely run in to the ground.

Why would you buy an expensive car as your first? There is a high chance it will get damaged and not nicely.

For the love of god don't do what anyone is saying. Don't get a v6. That's like buying a horse with 2 legs. Depending on where you live, buy a subaru legacy or an outback, or hell even a Golf. These cars last for ever, and are great cars. Golfs are quick too.
