This tutorial will show you how to reinstall Windows. This tutorial also applies if you are installing Windows 7 for the first time.

You will need the following:

Windows installation media (DVD or USB)

A computer (of course)

*it is illegal to provide a Windows 7 ISO, so I will not post a link.

The tutorial:

1. Insert the media (with Windows 7 on it) into your computer.

2. Enter into your computers boot menu, and boot of the media with Windows 7 on it - it is usually F8 or F12

3. It will then say "Windows is loading files" - wait for it to finish, will take no longer than 2 minutes.

4. The installation wizard will now pop up. Press Next, accept ToS etc.

5. You will be asked which drive you would like to install Windows too. Select that drive and press Next. (if you want too, you can format the drive before installing, but will erase all of your data)

6. Windows will now start installing. The process usually takes about 30 minutes to complete.

7. Now the process is complete, you have just installed Windows 7!

This is a basic tutorial, it is really easy to do.

F.A.Q

Q. How can I obtain a copy of Windows if I do not have one?
A. You can get one off the internet for free, but it is illegal

Q. How much RAM (minimum) is suggested while running Windows 7?
A. A minimum of 4GB is recommended.

Q. It says Windows cannot be installed to this drive?
A. You will need to format the drive which will convert it to a NTFS file type.

Q. Can I upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit?
A. If your PC has a 64-bit capable processor (CPU), you can install a 64-bit version of Windows 7, even if you're currently running a 32-bit version. However, to install a 64-bit version of Windows 7 on a computer already running a 32-bit version, you'll need to back up your files and choose the Custom option during installation. Then, you'll need to restore your files and reinstall your programs.

Q. What is the difference between 64 bit versions and 32 bit versions?
A. 64-bit operating systems can use more RAM4 GB and upthan 32-bit operating systems. That can make them more responsive when you're running lots of programs at once. All packaged retail editions of Windows 7 (except for Home Basic) include both 32-bit and 64-bit installation discs.

If you need any help, or have any questions, then I will be happy to help.

Just to point out that Microsoft freely gives you an ISO for Windows which you can find online. Getting the software is not illegal. However, the way you activate it may be.
