I'm not sure if I should talk about this in "The Rant" section or the "General Discussion" section, but here it goes:
I lived in the United States in one of the greatest cities to live. I'd rather not disclose my information, but I took my high school life for granted. I chose to move to Canada for University in September 2014 and so far it has been fun, but overall it was a terrible choice. I chose to come to Canada partly because I didn't want to go to a community college in the state I lived in. The main reasons I don't enjoy it here is:
1) My family still lives in the states, so to pay for tuition and other fees my parents have to transfer money from their American bank accounts to Canadian and it all is confusing due to taxes and what have you.
2) I feel like if I get a degree here, it will be hard to find a job back in the states, if I want to live there.
3) Shopping in Canada is TERRIBLE. You have to use amazon.ca to get anything, which normally means the prices are higher and there is a lower selection. Also at malls and shopping areas there is little diversity and high prices.
There are other reasons but overall I think you get the point. I don't want to tell my parents that I don't like it here because it took a long time to convince them to let me attend this school. I know I should be focusing on my education but all I can think about all day is what my life would be like if I decided to stay in the states.

In all fairness, a person should do what makes them happy. if being un-happy is causing you frustration, then it is up to you how to deal with it. but don't let it lead to further frustration and perhaps depression in the future.
i cannot give advice for this as i've never been in your situation, but i can express an opinion.

University comes with advantages and disadvantages but if you're overall fully regretting the choice its time to do something else, it's your life at the end of the day.

You made your bed and it is time to lay in it. I bolded, underlined, and changed the font color to red on the above portion that I am talking about.
You told your parents that THIS is the place that you wanted to go to more so than any other place in the whole world and now that you got there, you don't like it.
"Oh, well, I'll just tell mom and dad that I don't like it and they will gladly help me switch school since they didn't just waste shit loads of money to get me started over here."
The above quote is exactly how I look at this situation. School isn't about having fun or whatever, it's about education and you need to stick through this and get a degree and then you can come back home and if you still want to try other schools and further your education, so be it.
