IDK what happened but just last night before going to bed I cleared at least 20% of my computers space but now it says i only have 8% free and I havent done a thing.

You can compress the drive (HDD/SSD with the operating system installed to) and tat can save system space. Go to Computer > Right click your hard drive > Proprties.
Then at the bottom, tick the box "Compress this drive to save disk space"
Make sure to apply it to C:\, subfolders, and files.
