I'm branding a fictional mail company called 'Zephyr'. They use high speed drones to ship parcels and letters worldwide. I wanted to keep their logo modern and economical.

I posted a poll elsewhere online (pictured above). As you can see, the opinion is split almost 50/50. I'm coming to you guys for your opinion on this one, and find out which option should be taken further. Logo design and branding isn't my forte and I know some of you specialize in this. I would really appreciate your thoughts and decision. No border or border?
Thanks in advance.

Both, use what ever one is appropriate at the time, having a few different variations of the same logo is very common with companies as long as the main font stays pretty much the same you will still have the brand recognition you need for it... so both.

Thanks for your thoughts GFXUTOOBS. I hadn't considered that, and it's a great idea. Personally I think the bordered version would work better for physical applications, such as being stamped on parcels being shipped, or if the logo is embroided on a baseball cap/shirt for warehouse workers.
The none-bordered version could be more suitable for digital applications such as in a website's header or in a TV ad.
