I love the concept behind Bitcoins. I really do think it has great potential into becoming an "official" worldwide currency.
My father invested a large sum into this crypto currency, a good chunk of just over $30,000 back in April 2013. This was when 1 BTC = $110. He then sold his holdings a year or so later when they peaked just over $1,000 per coin.
He made just short of $300,000, for a year and a few months of holding.
(For those wondering what he did with the insane amount of profit; he spent a chunk on my studies, holidays, brand new car & debts). However he has kept $100,000 for future investments and he's starting to urge to make a return to Bitcoin.
February 2015, the price for 1btc using preev rates = [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - $250.
Looking at multiple resources he believes they will decrease in price when the silk auction takes place on March the 5th. Mainly due to the fact that there will be a flood of coins, plummeting the price. This will take a long period of time to recover, however those who manage to buy-in at an early stage will hopefully see some great returns.
Anyway.
At this moment in time we have 20 Bitcoins in our wallet. Not much, but we can still be considered as part of the community.
For those who use Bitcoins on a regular basis, how many Bitcoins do you have in your wallet & what's your story on how you got involved with this new digital processor?
Thanks for those who join in with the discussion.

I have never invested in bitcoin because I know the time that I do, I will spend a crap ton of money, then the next day the bitcoin value will crash and I will be homeless.
