remember the amd 641k? probably not as its fairly old
its a quad core at 2.8ghz and with my results from overclocking i got decent results imo.
my system
amd 641k @5.1hz all cores at stock voltage (all stable as 48hour prime 95 lead to no crashes)
8gb ram at 877mhzx2 (speccy)
f1a55-m lk r2.0
asus gtx 660
windows 7

the thing that gets me as i oced the fsb and multi, my max temp on the small stock cooler is 63'c max and ideals around 20,c (uk weather). is this good considering the chips age and that?

Any chip that hits 5Ghz an an achievement [apart from the 9590] especially at stock voltage?

I want proof & are you sure its stable?! You might pass the synthetic benchmark but have you tried gaming with it?

Im struggling to see how that is stable.

All you have to do is look at the bus and its unstable, let alone bump it up by that much!
