Alright post below if you agree, Cauterization is the process of burning the skin or flesh of a wound to stop bleeding or prevent wound from becoming infected. And we know that the cauterizer does burn when you shoot. So possibly if you upgrade the cauterizer to mk 25 and on the infected round shoot somebody who has become infected and possibly it will uninfect them. Try it for yourself.
