I've had a go at building you one here. I'm not sure if that's good or not.. wait for sanctyy to say it is or for him to build you one if this isn't good.

Apinity wrote if you can manage 430 I would drop the i5 for the i3 and upgrade on the gpu from 260x to the 2853.6GHz x 2 (Cores) = 7.2GHz

3.0GHz x 4 (Cores) = 12GHz. Why would you choose a duel core processor over a quad core just for a better GPU?

because he's getting a gaming pc, not an editing/design rig. With this budget he will see an fps and resolution gain by having a more powerful gpu, the i3 will not bottleneck, the bottleneck would be the 260x gpu.

You've also added in unnecessary parts. Why spend an extra 30 on a motherboard, not needed and why an extra 15 on a case? Fractal design is a well built and good looking case.

This logic... it hurts my IQ levels
Clock speed is what it says 3.4GHz or whatever, you don't multiply it by each core like a lot of pre built company's think. else I would be running at 27GHz right now...
As for dual vs quad core, in this instance a quad core would be the better solution because a dual core CPU just isn't up for modern games anymore.
