Ok so I torrented a program yesterday from a high rated source. Ran virus scans on the file using avast. All clean. Program works fine. Last night I noticed that my internet was extremely slow, I couldn't even watch a twitch stream on mobile quality. But my speedtests were fine. I figured it might resolve itself with time so I went to sleep. But what do ya know? Still slow this morning. I tested stuff out and every other device in the house can run any stream in 1080p with no buffer. But still not my desktop? I wondered if it could be a browser issue, tried installing Firefox, download corrupted. Tried installing opera, download corrupted. Tried a VPN, still slow. Then, just now, I was loading into a game of CSGO, and I was in a TS server with my friends, and I got attempting to reconnect in TS, but it was fine in game? I noticed skype was also trying to find signal, and nothing would load in chrome. I could talk in game chat and I played the entire game fine. I closed out of all the programs and tried reopening, but none of them would even run? I have run full sysytem virus scans multiple times, all coming back clean. I am honestly beyond confused as to what is going on. I need some serious assistance. I won't be able to test any solutions until the morning.
