Hey, I was wondering if any of these three mechanical keyboards would help my ability to type faster, give me more comfort typing, and help me type more smoothly. As the keys on my keyboard are more compressed.

Mechanical keyboards are defiantly easier to type on after you get used to them. But you need to get the correct switches.

If you get Cherry MX and you want the typing experience, get MX Blues or Greens, these will give the the click and tactile feel to every press and just feels very satisfying. Going for Browns or Reds is ok, but they are directed more to gamers.

But I have been typing and gaming on blues for a couple of years, and they are perfect for what i need.

PS: Why Razer?

PPS: They however cannot correct grammatical errors

Do mechanical Keyboards really benefit you that much? I have never used one so I wouldn't understand, I'm just wondering what difference they make! I have just done a quick search and the MX Cherry Blue Keyboards are selling in excess of 100GBP.

Never knew keyboards could be worth that much?

You'd be surprised at how much they do help. I could never go back to using a membrane keyboard after using a mechyy for 2-3 years.

The overall feel and ease of use, is astounding and totally worth the price you have to pay.

My CM Storm Quickfire TK cost me around 65GBP about 2 years ago. Still feels like new.

I might look into investing on one of these. I don't mind spending a lot on a Full PC but am not a huge fan of spending much on PC Accessories.

Thanks for the help though!

But does anyone know if Razer gives you that typing satisfaction?

Big Note:

Razor DOES NOT USE CHERRY MX KEYS.

They use "Khail" Keyswitches which are a "knock off" Cherry Brand Made in China.

While I can only say I'm annoyed Razor switched ALL OF THEIR PRODUCTS TO KHAIL, they kept THE SAME PRICES even when they had Cherry switches in them... Bad.

Here's a video from Linus about a different keyboard, but explains the Khail switches better than I can.

Overall, I recommend NOT to go with a Razor keyboard as they're overpriced for virtually the SAME functionality as something much cheaper, and with REAL Cherry switches.

Personally, I use a DasKeyboard (That's the full name) S version. It's German made, high-quality, and I've been using it for 3years now without any problems. And best of all, it uses Real Cherry MX Blue switches.

Edit: Since DK has released a newer version here's the link to the exact model I use.
I also DO NOT recommend the Poseidon Z, the video is just an example.

Razer products aren't bad per se, just overpriced. They use Kailh switched as opposed to Cherry MX switches which are arguably better. You can find nice mechanical keyboards for sale sometimes and they're usually worth picking up.
