I'm planning to get back into my YouTube groove and I really want to just make tutorials such as this one. I don't really need too many fancy effects, just simple transitions and an intro maybe. Can I get suggestions as to which software would be easy-to-use and suitable for these types of videos?

Also, how would I make a nice little thumbnail for the video?

Sony vegas. You can get it free but its worth paying for.

I would personally recommend using Adobe After Effects from personal use as it is not that hard to learn and there are ways of getting it for free if you know where to look.

Any editing software such as Imovie, sony vegas, after effects, etc.

To make your videos as high quality as theirs, you're gonna need:

1. Good Lighting
2. Decent Camera
3. Good Microphone (Blue Snowball is good, I've heard)

The program you're gonna wanna use is Adobe Aftereffects, and to make the thumbnails: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I recommend using gimp or photoshop.

In My Opinion The Cheapest And Good Quality Would Be Adobe After Affects!

But Regarding Price The Most Popular And Probs Best Is Sony Vegas!
