I stuck in an R7 240 for the CrossFire.

I really don't want to pirate Windows for my first PC.

And, shoot me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure I won't need the 285 for the games I'm planning to play.

But surely in lets say 6 months they might have released a good looking game that you would want to try out, you would think its a shame then if you can only run it at 2 fps right? Build a nice Computer now to save yourself money in the future.

What I suggested is better than this and closer to your current budget. If you went with my suggestion, you can easily add another 4GB RAM on the cheap at any point. I definitely wouldn't suggest using wireless either, if you can avoid it. If you're going to spend closer to £500, this would be better;

You could drop the SSD and swap the i3 for an i5-4440 instead if you'd wish. The motherboard you picked is pretty poor and only has 2 RAM slots which can be a bitch. That EVGA PSU is not as good quality as the XFX unit, and 450W is more than enough for any single card rig, other than something like an FX-9590 with a 290(x), which you should never be running anything like that anyway. If you're not too bothered about case, you can save £13 by getting the Fractal Design Core 1000 instead of the N200. I'd take the N200 over the Core 1000 though.

Spending 78 on windows is pointless when you can get it for free, and spend that on a better GPU, or a CPU.

The £500 rig you asked about didn't include an OS? The rig I suggested is £15 cheaper, more than enough for a kb+mouse combo. Why would you not get an SSD if you can afford one?
