Once people get what they want sometimes: TTG gold, a modded lobby, or anything else in life, they are quick to be ungrateful towards the person or people who helped them achieve those things.

Had that happen a few times on here. One of the reasons why I don't like doing giveaways. Anytime I'm given something, I'll always say thank you. I get you're not supposed to expect anything in return but a simple thanks only takes a couple seconds.

Some people just have no Respect, Just take the Gold and run. sn))((

This is partly the reason why I stopped gifting. I may start again soon. But I guess I'll have to try extra hard to pick someone who will be grateful.

I was gifted gold once and i didnt say thanks because 1. i didnt know who gifted me and 2. idk how to check who gifted you

Personally disagree with this post, the point of gifting (or doing anything nice for others for that matter) is to simply know you've helped out someone, its not for the plaudits you get in return. Sure it is nice for people to return the favour, but I don't think its justifiable to be upset if they don't, because then you are proving that you are only gifting to satisfy your own need for attention/rep/thanks or whatever it might be.

I always thought saying thank you would just be common sense or second nature for this type of stuff. That is sure a shame but it's the Internet. Thank you for all you have done/gave to the TTG Community.
