I've always wondered why when someone sells a OG name they star it out? Sometimes even give hints at what the name is. Either way you know the name why don't they just show the whole thing?

They don't show the whole thing so it is not banned by Microsoft.

But anyone with common sense at Microsoft knows the name. So couldn't they just ban it anyways?

Does MS really ban gamertags though for being sold? Is it really that big of a deal to sell a gamertag?

Profiting from something owned by someone else that is provided for free. It is against the law (on a mass scale) - Microsoft would not sue him for 10, but yeh.

I guess it's because someone is making money out of a Microsoft "product" ya know?
