I'm thinking about setting up a YouTube channel but I don't know how I'd start off? Like I don't know how to edit the videos or what programs to use etc I know I'd do the channel on glitches and other stuff on gta if anyone could give me tips or advice that would be helpful?

Since you're not knowledgeable in some aspects of the youtube world, i'd say educate your self or find someone to partner up with.

As far as getting noticed, make your videos original, some how they need to stand out from all the other same shit you're broadcasting.

Don't give up, it will take patience, dedication and hard work.

Make your Channel interesting
Make it unique in your own way
Try to record with good quality maybe even buy stuff for a setup

If you wanna get big and you just made your channel, it's gunna take a lot of hard work. Don't give up, at first, try to upload 2-4 times a week, then once you start growing, try uploading everyday. The views and the subs will just roll in, I get about 10 subs a day per average. Good Luck in the future and hopefully you will go somewhere!
