het guys first time building a pc here and i think i did some decent research and i want to get a gtx 970 but really want to keep the price of this build under 1000 CAD can you guys help me. i need every thing, OS etc, eve ry thing.

Hi, Sanctyy tbh i am completely new to this and i defiantly want be OC because i really don't know how and i don't want to be to hard on my parts want them to last a few years.
Need a monitor but i know what one already: Acer G226HQLBbd 60Hz 21.5
need a keyboard and mouse, again i know what ill get: EC Technology 4000 DPI Gaming Mouse and Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator
Need OS
Want to game arms 3, battlefields, cods, etc at 1080p maxed

Not going to get a 970 in there unfortunately, also going to have to get the OS the free way and add an SSD later on. However this is a good build which will get you going. Also get the keyboard and mouse you want when you have the money, but for now anything will do.

ok heres a questions isn't the R9 290 better then the GTX 960. Also how do i get windows the 'Free' way.
EDIT: Also, everyone seems to faceoff the and 8350 and the i5 4460 and 4950k, what are the advantages of each, i get that the 8350 is awesome for multitasking basically useless because who can do 8 things at once.

I just took the build TB posted and put a 970 on because you said you could go up to 1200 maybe. Its sitting right at 1200 after rebates.

yes the 290 is better, but again your not gonna get it within your budget. Also you will need a decent 3rd party card because the reference card is a heater.
Google it, due to site rules we can't say.
but it involves peg legs, eye patches and people going "arrrrr" ;)
