In my opinion; no.
I love GTAV, I'm level 209 online and I've been playing it since it was released, been looking forward to heists since about that time too. ( :coffee: )

And now they're finally here, they're more of a frustration than anything
Unless you have a solid, reliable group of friends to play them with then they're just not sustainable for anyone who just wants to hop onto GTA for a quick game.

Finding 3 other people can take an absolute age, even when it's a heist finale and they're gonna get stupid high amounts of money you're lucky to get people accepting an invite. I've actually been kicked for being adle for too long because I've been sat in a lobby waiting for people to join my damn heist.

And then once you've FINALLY got some people together it's pot luck whether you get good players or end up with 3 level 20's who die within seconds, and what happens if one of them dies?
It's game over for everyone.

And what do a large amount of people online do when a mission's failed once or twice?
Leave.
And what happens when 1 person leaves a heist?
You're back at square one.

The heists themselves are quite good, long winded to say the least but they pay well, although with the amount of time and stress you've put into getting that final pay out you could've done countless other missions and got the same reward, if not more.

Personally I think the heists need refining abit more to make them more accessible and reliable for your average joe wanting a game for a couple of hours, because at the moment they're just extremely frustrating.

Honestly I can't give you an un-biased opinion because every time I've tried to do heists I have been screwed over by a not so great crew

BUT, I think if I could find a solid crew with everyone on mics and not bad player it would be great.
Until then Heists are just another could be better about GTA/XBLIVE in general

I think that the heists release was a big thing for the game.
The heists have brought a lot of attention to the game.
I personally love them. As far as the game goes, they have made a better experience for players, giving them chance to earn more money etc to spend on cars, apartments and weapons.
10/10 Rockstar, you done good, very good.

Agree!

I actually like the hiests. But it takes forever to find someone to join your setup mission.

For example, the other day it took me and a group 14 tries to complete the setup mission for prison break because someone, who is level 98, kept dying over and over again. Bad thing was, we never got it done. 5 minutes later, i did the same mission with another group and we completed it on our first try. I was like WOW -_-

Imo, if you dont have a group of friends to help you with heists, then it will be difficult.

But honestly i enjoy playing that game.

I would say yes, because I have had a crew that has been waiting with me literally since the first news of this "heist" thing and we have a lot of fun with it. We only play on Saturdays and we are going to start the fourth one.

The amount of loading and connection issues GTA 5 has had I think that the game isn't that fun anymore.

Its a 50/50 for me. I wasn't hyped for heists personally, but im still enjoying the game from day one.
I see your frustration with people joining though, I have 2 friends I bother to work with, meaning we always have to wait for one more person. Normally, this person is an idiot and messes everything up, it is really frustrating, but thankfully Rockstar bothered to put in Checkpoints.
The heists are really good though, even if there are only 5. Good payouts, good concepts, good DLC.

Heists are fun, the only down side to them is R* always being down, not very trust worthy team mates, heist leaders screwing you over, people don't know what their doing so they manage to mess things up, and its not really good without a good team of people that you can completely trust. But hey, some good things are you get good money, you get to have WAY more stuff do to in GTA 5 as in buying cars and guns and best of all A LOT of cool clothing.
