The Elephone P6000 - A Chinese branded phone is the first MTK chipset device to be running Cyanogenmod 12. Besides the hardware specs being impressive - packing an MTK6732 64-bit Quad Core 1.5GHz CPU and 2GB of RAM with 4G combatibility, it now has a wide range of ROMs coming available to it.
CM12 brings a few much needed tweaks to lollipop. The ability to customise elements in the status bar as you like, for example the battery percentage icon and the clock, a new theming engine to completely change nearly every aspect of the UI, from the boot animation to the system icons and fonts, and a system profiles manager, allowing you to easily change some system settings depending on your location and other "triggers".
A representative of Elephone has confirmed that the CM12 ROM preview will be released to their website at bbs.elephone.hk soon. With a retail price of around $160 USD - this device is definitely one I believe to be worth considering, especially with sich high end specifications and a wide choice of ROMs.
Here is a video of the P6000 running (from left to right) Flyme OS, Stock Lollipop and CM12.
and here is an image gallery of screenshots of the P6000 running CM12:
