Basically i have minecraft the non disc version at my house saved to my harddrive
im staying round someones and on there xbox signed in as me
how can i play minecraft without having to buy it again

I am not sure about the wording but to my best understanding if your at someones house and they sign in and play it, it will still be on your hard drive when you get home. You shouldnt need to buy it again.

If you're on the dashboard you can click on your profile and it'll show your download. You can then download the game onto that console for free but the maps that you have made on your Xbox won't transfer unless you use a USB.

Unless you downloaded it from somebody else's profile you shouldn't have to buy it... It might say it costs money but try and buy it but if it doesn't buy and you didn't license transfer from somebody else then something's wrong with the Xbox or Microsoft is sh***ing on you

So you want to transfer minecraft over to your friends xbox so you can play it without paying for it again?
Depending on what 360 you/they have you can either take your HDD with you to your friends house and plug it into their xbox
If not then you will have to transfer Minecraft to a USB device and then take the USB over to your friends house
Alternatively you can license transfer the game with him this will allow him to download the game and you can play it without paying for it again

I transfered my license but on the download histroy its not there as i downloaded it ages ago, it still says its £13.49 or whatever. HELP

If it isnt there and you have bought it, I would suggest contacting Microsoft if none of the suggestions helped you above.

maybe you purchased it from a different account on the same console?
as if you did it does not go onto the download history of your account,
alot of people i have spoken to seem to think when you licence transfer somebodys account to your own xbox, they seem to think it puts the games downloaded/DLC into there own accounts download history which is obv untrue, make sure it was purchased on the account your trying to download it from as if its not in your history thats the only answer
