I graduated HS in 2013, spent one year at Blinn College to transfer to Texas A&M University. That did not work out.
You don't "need" education. Its good to have, but you could live without it.

That is true. However, in order to make a decent living there a bunch of things. The job world wants you to have 5 bachelors degrees, certifications, 5+ years in prior job experience. The only problem with that, is that it costs a fortune and its hard to find a entry level job to start your career.

I went (and am in my final year of sixth form at) a poor comprehensive in South Wales. We got closed and relocated for asbestos during GCSE year.
That's bad to hear, I'm so grateful for the education I was given. Good luck with your A-Levels!
Thank you! Despite the disruption, I'm in a good position education-wise

You don't actually need grades to get a job.
My mum left school at 13 as she was getting badly bullied!
She doesn't have any grades and she's earning 30,000 GBP a year.
So there my friend you are wrong.

Grades aren't necessarily everything but they certainly make getting a job a lot easier

No qualifications, no job. I think that is how it rolls.
Anyways, we're getting off track here!
