well i just tried installing my new amp today and for some weird reason the amp light wont stay on when i turn my truck on? any reason why its like this?
I have a aftermarket radio and when i take the faceplate of it off, the amp light turns back on?

the amp i am installing is a Kenwood KAC-7005ps 5 channel amp.

Does the amp actually work? Or is the light just not turning off vice versa? Your remote wire could be hooked up wrong.

If the amp keeps turning on and off check your ground wire, make sure it's done correctly.

If the amp is on and working but the light just isn't then it could just be the light itself.

Yeah if the amp works perfectly fine, but the light just isn't working...it's just the light.
