Haha, I don't really like zombie movies/tv shows so I don't know much

The only problem with walmart is so big so you don't know if a zombie is lurking somewhere, but the supplies in there is good.

Zombies wouldn't be the biggest problem in a public store/market. People will be killing each other to get supplies... kinda scary tbh bro.

Well, first things first, theres two scenarios that could play out and here is what i would do in the event of each:


Scenario 1 - No warning apocalypse:


If there was no warning and zombies just starting flooding in i would take all my guns and put them into a duffle bag and throw them in the bed of my truck(which has a hard tonnel cover, along with the boxes of ammo I have. (I have 3 pistols [s&w sd9ve, .38 special, s&w shield], 2 assault rifles [9mm high powered carbine, M4 carbine {$1750 build}] 4 shotguns [12 gauge savage, 20 gauge remington, .310 over/under, and 20 gauge side by side double barrel], and finally a horton crossbow with approx. 14 bolts) Then I would gather up my fiance, and dog, and head towards my familys cabin, about 120 miles away (knowing thats what my parents and brother would do), and have her parents and family meet us there. Once we arrive i would clear the area and cutting trees down to make a solid barrier around the cabin. Once there we would hunt, fish, and eat from the garden (no worries on water as it has a well 140ft underground) until either help arrived or we ran out of ammo/food. We would make weekly rounds into town (about 25 miles away) to the gun shop and grocery stores.


Scenario 2 - Warned of approaching apocalypse:


The only thing I would do in this situation is have more time to prep, example: stocking up on more ammo/food, reinforcing my truck/tandum axle trailer etc. Ultimately it would be the same just more time to prep which would result in more of a chance of survival.
