When I go to my recording options I literally have to have the microphone in my mouth for bars to show up. People can barely hear me in CSGO and on Teamspeak. BTW PC was working fine yesterday but toward the end of the day the computer back screened and froze twice. Now today this is happening. It is a PC problem because I put my headset into my laptop and it received my voice perfectly fine. Any help?
UPDATE: Problem still occurring. BUT NOW my audio sounds like it's been submerged under water or something. Sounds are really faded while others sound fine. Not sure what the hell is going on.
Fixed that one. Thread still active because the main problem still exists

Have you tried going into the mic options and hiring the input volume?

Input volume at max. The mic boost is at 0. When I raise it to max the people I play with hear static, im way too loud and super low quality. Just want it how it was before: Input at max and mic boost at min.

Alright, try restoring it to their defaults. I think this is how you do it: Start > setting > control panel > sounds < you can change default setting here.
