Wow Chi, great work again here. The only things that feels weird to me is that backpacks shape but then again I've never seen a backpack on a skeleton so I guess that's what it would look like haha, and that grass stuff maybe with a tanish green color could look more dead, but anyways this is awesome, great work m9

I initially started by wanting to make a vector creature. I finished it up,
then felt it was necessary to have a background to go with it, and tell a sort-of story.

I have made multiple versions, but I think this one is the best of the lot.

I am willing to upload the initial vector along with another version,
If enough people request me to.



So, yeah..
Tell me what ya' guys think.

I really like this concept,
I like how its a skateboarder that is a skeleton
This could kind of show how some skaters arn't afraid of death.

But,
There is one main thing I think you could improve on.
Line work,
I belive that you are afraid of having to much variance in line work.
I think some of the bones should have smaller strokes,
while the shading should have bigger strokes so it's a little more noticeable

Now that I'm talking about shading I noticed that you don't have highlighting.
You kind of skipped a whole step.
When you are highlighting you generally want small strokes unlike shading.

I hoped you kind of get what I am trying to say.

I get what you're saying, but I think you fail to see the style I was going for completely.

Not afraid of variation lol.
Thin lines on an illustration like this would absolutely kill it, look sloppy, inproportional.
I tried it a couple of times of the ribs, fingers, and head, wasn't looking too well.

Highlighting was not a need, I don't even think it would look good in this case.
Especially with all of the white, can't highlight that, going in with the greens.
It'd look like I just forgot to highlight a huge chunk of the image.

The only thing I semi-highlighted was the backpack.

Can't really skip something that was never meant to be there in the first place.

I was trying to stick with a sort of 3 color palette for each part of the figure.
Up until the background I stuck with that, then I switched to what I though best with a
sort of mono feel going for it.



Would love to agree with something you said, being that it is one of the more 'hefty' responses.
Just kinda think your on the wrong page.

Don't take it all the wrong way though, really do appreciate the response dood.
