So I'm building an ITX PC which is going to be used for work/gaming
So the build I am going for is this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
And before anyone brings this up I know i wont be able to do large overclocks on a H81 board and the 4690k is so that in future I will only have to upgrade the motherboard and not the CPU.
So should I stick to the stock Intel fan or go for some thing else? , and I should add this is my first build

No. You cant overclock on a b85 motherboard so the 4690k is a waste. Plus, you would need a BIOS flash to even get it to run.
Whats your total budget and what exactly are you using this PC for?

The PC is going to be used for work mainly but I want it to be able to rub games well as well.
Also I've read this about overclocking in this board [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
And in getting the k version is so if I upgrade in he future I don't have to shell out another £170 for a CPU when I can spend an extra £15 to get it in the first place.
Also I didn't know I would have to do a bios flash to get it to run.

It's an extra £30-£40 for the unlocked i5. Some H81, B85, H87 and H97 boards will allow slight overclocks sometimes, but not like a Z series board. What is the "work" that it's going to be used for? You're going to want an aftermarket cooler to do any real overclocking.
