ok so dark souls 2 is being released for the current gen consoles next Tuesday and im going to rent it at my rental store and i need to know how are the controls as this will be my first time playing the game i have never touched or seen gameplay lol.

Played the entire Souls series. Dark Souls 2 is BY FAR the easiest game of the three.
If you want to know the controller scheme just... oh, I don't know.. Google it?

The control scheme is weird as hell, but once you learn it, it makes the game a breeze.
Dark Souls 2 is 5x easier than 1.

I wouldn't say it's easier, it's just that after playing Dark Souls 1 a lot, it made people more "prepared" for Dark Souls 2.

its not hard at all.. dark souls 2 is a cake walk man.. if you want a real challenge play the first souls game.

I would say the controls are not very common but not hard to learn. The game tells you basics and there is a "training" area sorta.

Just compare Nashandra and Gwyn, could just sit there parrying Gwyn all day everyday.

Now that I think about it, I will say DS1 is harder, just cuz bone-wheel skeletons. They all can go die.
