One of the most important things to look at is mileage. It really tells you if the car has been driven a lot and how much you can expect to get out it.

Has it ever been in the shop and for what reason?

Does it leak oil? Ask someone to rev the engine multiple times, while you have your hand behind the muffler, do you see any black spots on your hands? That can be proof of the car leaking oil and how bad it is, if any at all.

How much is the price? That is a great determining factor on if it is worth the value of what he or she is asking for.

Truly do you want a used sports car cause 9 times out of 10 the person before you dogged it then traded it in. If I was you get a brand new one cause you don't want to do repairs on a sports car

I would never buy a sports car without a maintenance history/service history.

Check carfax.

I personally dont like those because they're too slow.
911 turbo or bust for me lol.

Hope you have money for shithappens.
Tires/brakes/oil/clutch fluid/clutch/plugs/etc
I'd change those things first if I got the car.

Porsches are very good cars though.
I like them.
I'd say do it if you actually have the money.
But just in case anything happens, don't buy a car you cant afford to repair lol.

I dont know common problems on those so cant help ya there.

I am going to completely agree with this. 100%.

If you can't afford to fix something if ANYTHING goes wrong. Do not get it. Being a sports car and a major player in cars, they will cost much more expensive to fix. One because to fix porches you have to go to school, they aren't like traditional cars on the roads where you can go to almost any mechanic, only for basic issues.

So very costly repairs if any.

Cayman's give me that "weekend" car feel. Not really ideal for a daily driver in my opinion. I don't know if your looking for a daily driver or what, but this is a nice car to purchase if you have the money. Just don't be stupid, we're just people on the internet, we can't make up your mind.
