You wouldn't go to jail for not going to school or not going to court, your parent or caretaker would be the one in trouble.

You won't go to jail lmao I had 5 of those letters and nothing ever happened. Worst you'll get is a fine that you're parents will have to pay for unless you're 18.

Only your parents will go to jail in the worst case scenario.
Here in the UK there's many steps before, like Parenting order, Penalty notice and a fine.
If they all fail or you don't pay your fine or penalty notice you could face prosecution, but even then it would be fairly unlikely.

If you skip school
It counts as truancy

Make you turn in a note from home
Or the absence will count as unexcused

If they found out you were missing school for a medical reason, you'll be fine. I wouldn't be too worried to be honest.

if you missed school you should not be sent to jail as thats not a crime so why are you going to court there must be a different reason as missing school whouldnt do that.

-Deceptionz- wrote So last week and the week before that I have been absent from school for my pneumonia and flu. We got a court letter and I haven't went yet. Now I dont really care if I got arrested in just wondering, but what I'm seriously wondering is what will happen if I'm still in jail but I have to take a serious state math test that determines whether I go to high school or not.

I've had 7 weeks off and I'm not going to jail haha. You were off because you are sick, they can't do anything
