Im looking for someone who knows about or has a gaming laptop, I've always been a console gamer but recently felt the urge to try out PC games, after looking about the web I came to the conclusion that I don't know the first thing about what is and isn't good specs and what's a good price, I was hoping to spend less than £300/350 but don't know if I'd get a good reliable one at this price, any insight would be very much appreciated

You won't get anything close to a "gaming" laptop for £300...

Yeah unless you pick one up cheap with problems and refurb it, (That's what i do with expensive laptops) you do not have much chance with that budget.

But does depend what you want to play on it as you can get some that are lower price but can handle some mid level games.

You will pay more for a less beefy laptop than if you got a PC

stretch to the top end of your budget and get this, Probobly best you will find for your budget
