Here's a list of problems that are happening!

1) when I plug in my iPad to the wall it only charges if I leave it locked. If I use it while it's charging then the battery still goes down!

2) When it's charged the battery drains really quickly

I've tried different charges and it hasn't worked! Does anyone have any solutions?

If the battery is draining while its being charged and while your on it, its most likely what you doing on it. If i watch Youtube while my iPad Mini is being charged it doesn't go down but it will charge very slowly.

If i'm correct the main reason for poor battery life is if you keep it on charge all the time, even if its fairly charged already. I read somewhere about your only meant to charge it when its ran out or else you battery life decreases.

It may also be down to if its getting old, how long have you had it for?

I'm not %100 sure but i think that's your problem.

Larger devices like the iPad die on the charger because the screen requires so much energy to stay on. My Nexus 7 does the same thing and it's significantly smaller than the iPad.
